Overview
The V1021 intelligent XMC/PMC module provides high performance line-speed 10GbE connectivity for real-time applications. The product line offers outstanding packet processing performance together with application flexibility. The V1021 is software compatible with and uses the same optical connectors as AdvancedIO's V1020 module family. The V1021 uses SFP+, the latest 10-gigabit optical transceiver technology, to facilitate increased system density for multi-slot systems.
The V1021 is available pre-configured for processor protocol offload (udpXG™). It also supports PCI Express® (PCIe) or PCI-X host interfaces. The module can also be configured to carry out a range of packet processing or signal processing functions such as up/down conversion, aggregation, deep packet inspection, encryption/decryption, and FFT.
