Mohammad Darwish, President & CEO

Mr. Darwish has over 19 years of experience in business and technology innovation, and is responsible for the strategic vision, overall direction, and everyday operation of the company. Prior to launching AdvancedIO, he spent seven years with Spectrum Signal Processing as a senior member of the R&D team, where he helped bring products to market. He received a MASc Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and held a teaching position at the university from 1994 to 2002. He holds one patent and has been published in a number of industry journals. Mr. Darwish also serves on the AdvancedIO Board of Directors.

Mary Briggs, Vice President, Sales

Ms. Briggs is a senior sales executive with over 19 years of experience building sales organizations, developing loyal customer relationships and closing multi-million dollar contracts in the defense, finance, and technology markets. Since 1990, she has been holding senior sales positions of increasing responsibility at Epic Data, Spectrum Signal Processing, Blast Radius, and most recently at JustSystems. At JustSystems, she built a high performance sales team servicing North America and Europe that consistently met or exceeded expectations. Ms. Briggs earned a business administration designation at Kwantlen College in 1985.

Rob Kraft, P.Eng., Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Kraft is a strong communicator with over 15 years of marketing and technology experience, responsible for developing new market opportunities, product positioning and overall market recognition. Before joining AdvancedIO, Mr. Kraft held positions in systems engineering, technical sales, and product management with Spectrum Signal Processing, AlliedSignal Aerospace, and Alcatel Transport, successfully delivering integrated systems to satisfied customers. He is an engaging presenter with a strong technical background in the embedded space. He holds a MASc degree in Engineering Science (Electrical) from the University of Toronto and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Ronny Muller, Vice President, Operations

Mr. Muller has over 24 years of experience in multi-disciplined project management and operations, responsible for production, quality assurance and meeting customer expectations. He began his career at the CSIR in Pretoria, South Africa, and moved to Vancouver in 1996, where he gained experience at established firms such as Glenayre, Spectrum Signal Processing, and Creo. Mr. Muller holds an MSc in experimental solid state physics and a diploma in project management.

Evan Sollberger, CA, CFO

Mr. Sollberger is responsible for all financial, treasury and accounting activities. Mr. Sollberger graduated from the University of British Columbia's Forestry Program in 2001. In the same year, he joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he specialized in accounting for the forestry and high-tech manufacturing sectors. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2005.
