Responsibilities

• Analyze system functional requirements
• Design and implement AdvancedIO next generation products
• Document and communicate software requirements, architecture and design to other members of the team
• Execute all phases of product development life cycle, including debugging and unit testing
• Take responsibility and ownership for the quality of all deliverables
• Maintain and support existing products

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Broad development experience with a successful track record working with multiple technologies
• Strong experience with RTOS, embedded, and multi-threaded programming
• Strong experience with C/C++
• Working knowledge with TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols
• Experience with software/hardware or software/FPGA interfaces, including in-system programming
• Experience in a structured development environment in either Telecom, defence or another hardware/software product related industry
• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

A Strong Plus

• Working knowledge with PCIe
• Experience in VxWorks or Linux Device Drivers and Board Support Package (BSP) development
